Body From December 1940 Humphrey’s and Thomson, the contractors who will build the 360 miles of REA line in this section, have decided to make Argonia their headquarters. They have leased Elarton’s garage to store trucks, cars, and supplies.

Body From December 1933 Kenneth Beal, Roy Jenkins, Clyde Clark, and Harold Lange of this place and Julius Miller of Clearwater returned last week from a several-day visit to the big fair in Chicago. The boys made the trip in a Model T touring car.

Cold Weather Rule now in effect

Body The Cold Weather Rule, designed to help Kansans who are behind on their utility payments avoid disconnection during the winter months, began on Nov. 1 and will remain in effect through March 31.
