Goddard updates standby, on-call policy

Body TSnews GODDARD – The Goddard City Council voted at its June 24 meeting to update the city’s standby and on-call policy for employees. The new policy institutes $1 per hour in standby pay during on-call periods.

June sets record for rain

Body It comes as no surprise that June was one of the wettest on record. The National Weather Service in Wichita reports that 11.12 inches of rain fell at the official site at Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport in west Wichita. That is a “whopping” 6.

EHS coach passes away
