Body Brianna Barnes TSnews GODDARD — Owners and employees from Stroot Lockers attended the 2025 Kansas Meat Processors Association (KMPA) Convention and Trade Show, held in Wichita at the DoubleTree by Hilton.

Body TSnews CLEARWATER – With Indian Ridge Phase 1 infrastructure projects complete, the Clearwater City Council moved toward issuing general obligation bonds (GO bonds) during its May 27 meeting. A public hearing on the bonds was scheduled for June 24.

Body GARDEN PLAIN – The annual Vintage Market in Garden Plain returns this Saturday. One of the city's larger events, the Vintage Market includes numerous commercial vendors with a wide variety of products, as well as food trucks.

Body TSnews CONWAY SPRINGS – The Conway Springs City Council took actions last week to utilize some of the TEFFI Seed Grant funds it had received earlier this year from the Kansas Department of Commerce.

Body GODDARD – A new face and new role highlighted Monday’s Goddard City Council meeting. Naomi Leonard is the newest council member, attending her second meeting after being appointed and sworn in on May 27.

Body TSnews ARGONIA – Argonia High School has consistently brought in two foreign exchange students every year for the last three years and they have all been hosted by the same family, Wayne and Sarah Vineyard.

Body GODDARD – As of May 21, the intersection of 167th Street West and Central (4th Street North) is now an all-way stop. For the first time, drivers traveling north south on 167th Street will need to stop.
