Body Sedgwick County's Christmas tree recycling program ends next week. Jan. 23 is the last day for county residents to drop off their Christmas trees at one of 22 sites in the county. Lights, decorations and stands must be removed first.

Body HAYSVILLE – The Haysville city council kicked off the new year with its first meeting of 2025 on Monday night and worked through its agenda in just 30 minutes. Many of the business items dealt with appointments and contracts for services that are renewed annually.

Body GARDEN PLAIN – During its Jan. 8 meeting, the Garden Plain City Council approved a resolution adjusting the price it charges per MCF of natural gas, raising it from $2.65 to $3.15.
