TSnews GODDARD – The Goddard City Council at its meeting Monday began in earnest to discuss a 10year capital plan for major roadway improvements. Preliminary concepts were prepared by Transystems, which also designed the R-cut project on US-54.

Maybe not, says Kansas State University food scientist Karen Blakeslee. “If you taste a whole vegetable, such as a baked sweet potato, compared to slices of sweet potato that are baked, you’ll have two different foods,” said Blakeslee, who is also coordinator of the university’s Rapid Response Center for food science.
Cutting vegetables before baking, roasting or otherwise cooking them can result in a different flavor. Metro Creative Connection

TSnews GODDARD – Family connections and pride in his country helped lead Matthew Smith to served his country in the United States Navy. Smith, the owner of Knuckles Automotive in Goddard, was an active-duty member of the U.S Navy from 2009 to 2019.
