HAYSVILLE – A newly- completed sidewalk now offers a safe walking and biking path from the main part of Haysville to the Plagens-Carpenter Ball Fields, located east of the intersection of Main Street and 63rd Street South.

Evergy announces power plants for Sumner Co.

SUMNER COUNTY – Evergy, Inc., announced on Monday that it will invest in two new 705 megawatt (MW) combined- cycle natural gas plants that will be built in Kansas. The plants are expected to begin operating in 2029 and 2030.
