Eight new trees including two sycamores, three sweet gum trees, two cypresses, and one flowering peach were planted in Salter Park. Bert Wible, Atchinson Nurseries, Caldwell, brought the trees to Argonia and supervised the planting.

GODDARD – This year’s Goddard Fall Festival will be highlighted by a country music concert starring John Michael Montgomery. The concert will be on Saturday, Oct. 7.

After four years of hard work, high school seniors will begin receiving their diplomas this week. Most local graduations will take place by the end of this weekend, with the final ones happening next weekend.
