Jack Jay Kersenbrock, age 88, passed away on March 18, 2024, at Citizens Medical Center in Colby.
He was born on the family farm on Feb. 25, 1936, to Herman “Babe” and Olive (Metzler) Kersenbrock. He grew up on the farm, first attending country school and graduating from Colby High School. He attended Kansas State University for one year and then was drafted into the Army.
Jason Lee Nelson, 47, of Wichita, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024. He was born on June 19, 1976, in Manhattan to Jim Nelson and Susan (Downing) Jacobs. Jason married Megan (Kanngiesser) Nelson on July 27, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were married for seven years.
Imogene Smith Beat, 95, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Anness, Kan., to Walter and Fern Smith on March 28, 1928. She was one of 10 children and the mother of two boys, Gary & Terry Voth.
Robert E. St. Clair, formally of Goddard, passed away peaceful on March 6, 2024, at his home in Clarksville, Tenn., after fighting leukemia for three months.
He was born in Detroit, Mich., on April 8, 1942, to Robert Elegy Webb, Sr., and Emelene Florence Ward. He grew up in many different cities as his step-father was in the military. They lived in 29 Palms, Calif., during his high school years, where he played football, basketball and track. The family then moved to Peck, Kan.
Anna "Tammy" Tamise Gibson, 65, of Wichita, material logistics agent, died Thursday, March 21, 2024. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, at Cheney Methodist Church.
Larry W. Tull, 86, of Conway Springs, died Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Spring View Manor, Conway Springs.
He was born Feb. 9, 1938, at Kincaid, Kan., to Frank Morrow Tull and Ollie Pearl (Engelman) Tull. Larry attended elementary school in Waverly, Kan., before moving with his family to Conway Springs at the age of 8 years. He attended Conway Springs Public Schools and Conway Springs High School. He began working as a young man at his father’s service station in Conway Springs.
Janet E. Patterson, 80, formerly of Conway Springs, died March 18, 2024.
Parish rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Conway Springs. Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 25, at the church. Both will be led by
Father Kyle Dugan.

Dean Francis Joslin, 89, was born in Harper, Kan., on Dec. 1, 1934, and peacefully passed away at his home in Anthony on March 14, 2024.
William Ray Murphy was born Aug. 23, 1942 in Wellington to Harold Clay Murphy and Doris Mae (Gilges) Murphy and departed this life on March 16, 2024, at the age of 81 years, 6 months and 17 days.
