Staff report TSnews On Monday, the Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC) approved two settlements to allow Evergy Kansas Central (EKC) to recover from its customers the cost of three new generation facilities. A statement from the KCC said the facilities are intended to meet increasing electric demand and improve reliability.

Construction progresses on Mexican restaurant

GODDARD – Construction is moving forward on a new Mexican restaurant in Goddard. Dos Amigos Mexican Restaurant announced last year that is was coming to town, but then very little appeared to be happening in terms of moving toward an opening date.
