TSnews GODDARD – Players and staff at Eisenhower High School are remembering softball coach Amber Brunswig in the wake of her death on June 29 after a major cardiac event earlier that month. Brunswig coached softball for the Tigers for seven seasons, leading Eisenhower to two Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Division II titles, four regional titles and three trips to the final four from 2021-23, including a State runner-up finish in 2023.

TSnews An emergency grant of $100,000 will keep senior meals going in communities in south-central Kansas. The Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) announced the grant last month to ensure continued home-delivered and congregate meals for older Kansans in this area, following a potential disruption in services.

TSnews Four days and nights of the Sedgwick County Fair are underway. The Fair kicked off on Wednesday with a parade, entries for Open Class and 4-H competitions, and the first round of the Battle of the Bands.

Barton Community College has named 294 students to the president's list for the spring 2025 semester, and another 293 students to the dean’s list. To qualify for the president's list, students must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours and maintain a gradepoint average of 4.0.
