Following are next week’s menus for Friendship Meals and Meals on Wheels in both Sedgwick County and Sumner County. The recommended cost is $5 per meal, if you are able to pay.

GODDARD – The Goddard Puppet Ladies will present “Caps For Sale” by Esphyr Slobodkina next week. The performance will be at 9:30 a.m.

The American Red Cross urges donors to give blood or platelets in February to help build up the blood supply after thousands of donations went uncollected last month. People of all blood types – especially those with type O negative blood – are encouraged to make and keep their donation appointments so hospitals can continue to ensure critical care for patients this winter.

SUMNER COUNTY – The Sumner County Historical & Genealogical Society will host “Rediscovering the Arkansas River,” a presentation and discussion by Hannes Zacharias. The presentation will be at 6:30 p.m.

HAYSVILLE – The Haysville Chamber of Commerce will hold its next meeing at 11:30 a.m. on Feb.

GODDARD – Students at Goddard High School will present the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” this weekend. Shows will be at 7 p.m.
