Clearwater to crown winter royalty

CLEARWATER – This Friday, Clearwater High School will crown its winter royalty king and queen. The coronation will take place after the boys varsity basketball game.
The Clearwater High School winter royalty candidates are, from left, Cale Carlson, Kaylee Hampton, Trent Fisher, Camryn Carlson, Issac Smith, Kaelyn Potter, Gage Clevenger and Zoey Skiles. Coronation will be on Friday night.

Raiders ready for homecoming

ARGONIA – This Friday will be winter homecoming night at Argonia High School Basketball action begins with the varsity girls game at 6 p.m. at the Raiders play Cedar Vale-Dexter. Homecoming coronation will be at halftime of the boys varsity game.

'Doo Dah' show coming to Conway Springs

CONWAY SPRINGS – The Conway Springs Community Theatre will stage “My Daze in Doo Dah” in a trio of performances next week. Dinner theater shows will be held next week on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.

Sunflower Station serves a unique role in Argonia

January marked a big month for Sunflower Station Child Care, the new child care facility operated by the Argonia School District. Sunflower Station actually opened last June, but it was this January that the facility officially celebrated its move into its permanent location on the east side of the Argonia Senior-Junior High School building.
