HAYSVILLE – Eli Aziere of Haysville was recently named to the fall 2024 dean's list at the College of William & Mary. To be on the dean's lists, a student must be a fulltime, degree-seeking undergraduate student and earn a 3.6 quality-point average.

GODDARD – Goddard resident Carson Jobe has been named to the president’s honor roll for work in the fall 2024 semester, a distinction given to those who achieve the university’s highest academic standards.

Barton Community College has named 312 students to the dean’s list for the fall 2024 semester. To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.99 on a 4.0 or 'A' letter scale.

Following are next week’s menus for Friendship Meals and Meals on Wheels in both Sedgwick County and Sumner County. The recommended cost is $5 per meal, if you are able to pay.

10 Years Ago Cheney High School students Chase McCormick and Matthew Slusser were chosen to participate in Kansas Music Educators Association all-state honors groups, earning one of the highest distinctions for student musicians in the state of Kansas.

GODDARD – Eisenhower High School's performing arts department will stage Rodgers & Hammerstein's “Cinderella.” Performances will be this Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., and at noon on Saturday. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students, and will be available at the door.
