Clearwater holds off on AYSO fee decision

TSnews CLEARWATER – During its meeting July 23, the Clearwater City Council discussed whether to apply its new fee schedule for use of the sports complex to the AYSO youth soccer organization during the 2024-2025 activity year. AYSO had already started to advertise its programs and fees without knowing about the newly formalized fees for using the sports complex, so council members agreed that some sort of consideration for the youth sports organization was in order.

From August 1939 Plans are definitely underway for the holding of an Argonia Picnic this month. The date has been set for Sunday, Aug. 27, on the lawn of the Township Hall. There will be a basket dinner at about 1:00 o’clock and a program in the afternoon.

7 Years Ago A large crowd turned out for last Thursday's ribbon cutting and grand opening at the new Haysville Activity Center. The new HAC began operations a month ago, but last week's event served as both a celebration of the facility's completion and a chance to show off the facility for potential customers and residents who paid for the facility with a portion of a sales tax approved in 2015.
