Following are next week’s menus for Friendship Meals and Meals on Wheels in both Sedgwick County and Sumner County. A change was made recently, and there are now different menus for Sedgwick County and Sumner County.

SUMNER COUNTY – Cowley College's recent hire, Zach Cooper, has been appointed the director of Cowley College Sumner Campus. With a bachelor's degree in agricultural education from Kansas State University and a master's degree in career technical education from Pitt State, Cooper is currently undertaking a PhD program with Oklahoma State University in agricultural education.

Etienna Mertel, the pastor at First Christian Church in Clearwater, got the idea after taking the reins of the ministerial alliance.

Cities in the TSnews coverage area are not impacted by the low water levels at Cheney Reservoir. All draw their water from wells that are reasonably close by. The cities have plans in place in the event that the ongoing drought would require water restrictions. None expect to implement those restrictions any time soon.
