Communities kicking off Christmas this weekend

Bridge replacement near Clearwater starts Monday

Body A $4.5 million project to replace the 151st Street West bridge over the Ninnescah River near Clearwater will begin Monday, closing all lanes of traffic on the bridge through the summer of 2024. The 151st Street bridge is 620 feet long and was built in 1955.
The 151st Street West bridge, located just southwest of Clearwater, will be replaced. The bridge will be closed starting next week and construction will continue until summer 2024. The bridge sits between Clearwater and the Sedgwick-Sumner county line. Contributed photo/Sedgwick County

New FFA program starts at Clearwater High
