TSnews HAYSVILLE – The Haysville City Council approved a water supply and treatment study at Monday’s monthly meeting. “Water is arguably the most important commodity to a community and its growth,” public works director Tony Martinez told the council.

TSnews GARDEN PLAIN – During a brief city council meeting on May 3, members of the Garden Plain City Council conversed with engineers from Kirkham Michael about stormwater drainage and sewer capacity issues in the city. One Kirkham Michael study presents options for future sewer capacity expansions.

The commencement exercises of the four schools of Vinita Township will be held at Vinita Hall on May 6, commencing at 6 o’clock. The teachers, Miss Abbye Matson, Laura Butler, Maude Butler, and Mary Palmer, are closing a successful year of schoolwork.
