Body TSnews The Eisenhower Tigers softball team entered this week on an eight-game winning streak after sweeping a pair of doubleheaders last week. The Tigers swept Arkansas City last Tuesday, 5-2 and 11-7, respectively, then took a pair from Salina Central last Friday, 7-2 and 5-2.

Body TSnews Three out of four boys tennis teams in the TSnews coverage area hosted meets last week, while the fourth, Eisenhower High School, had a break from varsity competition. At Campus High School, the Colts mostly struggled, finishing in seventh or eighth in their events.

Lions beat Newton, Salina Central

Body TSnews The Goddard Lions girls soccer team had a strong showing last week, beating Newton 4-1 on Tuesday, then blowing out Salina Central 10-0 on Thursday. The Newton game seemed pretty evenly matched for the first 10 or 20 minutes, Lions head coach Josh Hansen said.

Colts soccer beats Salina Central

Body The Campus Colts girls soccer team got a welcome win at Salina Central on April 9, beating the Mustangs 2-1. “The girls played well,” Colts head coach Casey Reece said.
