Body TSnews The Goddard Lions boys and girls wrestling teams headed to Newton last week for its annual Tournament of Champions, with four boys winning titles last Saturday and one girl medaling last Thursday.

Body TSnews The Campus Colts boys and girls wrestling teams both went to the Clearwater Invitational last Saturday and each team came home with one individual champion and several other medalists.

Body TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals girls basketball team won all three of its games last week to improve to 8-2 on the season. Two blowout wins were sandwiched around a hard-fought 36-32 win over Chaparral last Thursday in a makeup of a Jan.

Body TSnews The Goddard Lions girls basketball team hosted Newton Friday, winning 45-25. Early on in the game’s first quarter, there was very little offense outside of free throws.

Body TSnews The Goddard boys basketball team dropped two games last week, losing at Maize South 65-35 on Jan. 14, then hosting Newton on Jan.

Body TSnews The Clearwater Indians boys basketball team still is seeking its first win of the season after dropping both of its contests last week. The Indians fell at Andale 6419 last Tuesday and lost at home to Buhler 62-27 last Friday.

Body TSnews The Clearwater Indians girls basketball team got a big game from sophomore Makena Hampton and used fourth-quarter defense to down Andale 34-31 last Tuesday on the road.
