ARGONIA – A free pool party for students in the USD 359 school district is set for Friday night. The back-to-school party will run 6:30-8:30 p.m., and is for students enrolled in Argonia schools and their families.

CS Council agrees to move to one meeting a month

CONWAY SPRINGS – Beginning in August, there'll just be one Conway Springs City Council meeting a month moving forward. At their meeting last week, members of the Conway Springs City Council agreed with a recommendation from Mayor Daryle Smith, who suggested the council look at once-a-month meetings, rather than the two meetings a month that had been the council's practice.
