City hall turns to new bill pay system CONWAY SPRINGS – Members of the Conway Springs City Council got some good news last week – the new Nexbill payment system is getting positive response and people are already signing up to use it. “It’s going really well,” said deputy city clerk and treasurer Beth Crick.

CONWAY SPRINGS – Members of the Conway Springs City Council agreed last week to set a workshop so that council members can continue discussing issues surrounding the formation of a Land Bank program, as well as increasing available housing in the community.

TSnews CLEARWATER – At the Clearwater City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 13, Mayor Burt Ussery moved to fill the council seat left vacant when Tex Titterington was killed in a May 28 car crash. Ussery appointed Shirley Palmer-Witt, a real estate agent with previous experience as a council member.

The Sumner County 4-H Council will hold a cookie jar auction during the Wheat Festival Picnic in The Park at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, in Wellington.

CONWAY SPRINGS – With the completion of the 2022-23 school year, school officials at Conway Springs High School have released their end-of-theyear honors. The first list is the principal's honor roll for the second semester.
