SEDGWICK COUNTY – If you have standing water, the Sedgwick County Health Department is offering Mosquito Dunks at no cost, in an effort to reduce mosquito populations. Mosquito Dunks kill young mosquitoes before they grow into biting adults.

TSnews GODDARD – The Goddard Senior Center has been awarded a grant to support the purchase of a new transportation van for medical, nutritional and community needs. But the grant requires a local funding match to complete the acquisition of the vehicle.

CLEARWATER – Trista Welty, senior at Clearwater High School, will be attending the NFHS National Student Leadership Summit (NSLS) in Indianapolis on July 13-17. She will be one of only four students who will represent Kansas athletes at the summit.

TSnews GODDARD – Players and staff at Eisenhower High School are remembering softball coach Amber Brunswig in the wake of her death on June 29 after a major cardiac event earlier that month. Brunswig coached softball for the Tigers for seven seasons, leading Eisenhower to two Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Division II titles, four regional titles and three trips to the final four from 2021-23, including a State runner-up finish in 2023.
