Editor’s note: Following are the unofficial minutes of the USD 356 Conway Springs Board of Education meeting of Feb. 10. The minutes will be adopted officially at the March meeting, and are subject to change prior to adoption.

TSnews GODDARD – Linear Park in Goddard will soon have new, inclusive features. Construction was set to begin soon on an addition that will bring several new features, all of which will be inclusive in nature.

The USD 356 Conway Springs Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Monday.

HAYSVILLE – Eli Aziere of Haysville was recently named to the fall 2024 dean's list at the College of William & Mary. To be on the dean's lists, a student must be a fulltime, degree-seeking undergraduate student and earn a 3.6 quality-point average.

GODDARD – Goddard resident Carson Jobe has been named to the president’s honor roll for work in the fall 2024 semester, a distinction given to those who achieve the university’s highest academic standards. To be included on the president’s honor roll, a student must record a “straight-A” or 4.0 grade point average for their work in qualifying classes.

Barton Community College has named 312 students to the dean’s list for the fall 2024 semester. To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.99 on a 4.0 or 'A' letter scale.

Following are next week’s menus for Friendship Meals and Meals on Wheels in both Sedgwick County and Sumner County. The recommended cost is $5 per meal, if you are able to pay.
