WICHITA – This spring break, the 2025 Youth Lawn Mowing Clinic is empowering youth to develop skills, build confidence, and potentially launch their own small businesses. Scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, the Youth Lawn Mowing Clinic will provide students in grades 5-9 with life skills like lawn mower maintenance, safety procedures when operating a lawn mower, and entrepreneurship.

HAYSVILLE – A community blood drive will be held on Saturday, March 8, at the Haysville Community Library. The drive will run 11 a.m.

8 Years Ago The Campus Colts Swim To A Wish team exceeded its fundraising goal, raising more than $11,000 for the Kansas Make-AWish Foundation over the weekend. Make-A-Wish grants “wishes”- often family cruises or theme park trips- to seriously ill children.

More than 7,300 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the deans’ list for the fall semester of the 2024-25 academic year. Qualification for the deans’ list varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center.

Fort Hays State University has named 1,884 students to the deans' honor roll for the fall 2024 semester. The deans' honor roll includes undergraduate students only.

HAYSVILLE – The annual Friends of the Haysville Library Pi Day pie fundraiser will take place on March 14. Pre-order sales are underway for whole pies from Spears Pies.
