Substitutes for cherry dye are limited

Extension The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s recent ban on the use of a popular food dye will create a new challenge for home bakers aiming for a signature cherry red color in candy, cakes, icings and other food products.

Students graduate from Wichita State

More than 1,240 students completed a total of 1,378 degrees and certificates at Wichita State University in fall 2024. The breakdown of degrees and certificates granted includes 908 degrees and certificates for 845 undergraduate students and 470 degrees and certificates for 397 graduate students.

Students earn WSU honors

Wichita State University has announced the names of 3,865 students who were on the WSU Dean's Honor Roll for fall 2024. To be included on the dean's honor roll, a student must be enrolled full time (at least 12 credit hours) and earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Ward earns FCS honor
