Rain is an ironic concern for this year’s wheat crop, but producers have been asking Mother Nature to hold off just a bit so they can get a quickly ripening crop out of the field and into the bin before weed pressure sets in.

CLEARWATER – Clearwater High School has named its honor roll students for the spring semester. Students have been named to the all-A honor roll, the honor roll, or honorable mention, depending on their gradepoint average.

TSnews HAYSVILLE – The Campus High School barbecue team, Notorious P.I.G., placed in two events at the National High School BBQ Association Championship. Team members are Connor Pedrow, Ava Marrs, Kylie Kennedy and Gabriella Perry.

CHENEY – The board members for Fairview Cemetery in Cheney are seeking donations to help with maintenance costs. In recent years, with lower interest rates and increasing maintenance costs, the cemetery has not generated enough funds to pay for mowing, spraying, and other maintenance needs.
