Cheney approves new downtown buildings

CHENEY – At last Thursday's regular monthly meeting, the Cheney City Council approved the planned unit developments (PUDs) for two new buildings owned by Grady Laverentz, owner of Precision Plumbing located at the corner of Main Street and Santa Fe Avenue.

CONWAY SPRINGS – The Conway Springs Middle School scholar’s bowl teams traveled to Wichita Independent on Feb. 5. The eighth grade team of Kendall Baggs, Myles Becker, Kaelynn Downey, Jenny Murphy, Micah Wolke and Mason Zoglmann finished in fourth place with a 2-7 match record and 315 total points.
