Body TSnews The Campus Colts remain positive while still searching for the season’s first win. The Colts dropped a pair of games last week against ranked foes, but continue to show good things as the young squad develops.

Body TSnews The Cheney Cardinals girls basketball team, after a week off, rolled past three different opponents last week with each win coming by more than 30 points. The Cardinals finished the week with a 61-28 home win over the Kingman Eagles last Friday.

Body TSnews The Eisenhower Tigers girls basketball team got the better of Newton at home last week, winning 50-19 on Jan. 14 for their second victory of the season.

Body TSnews The Campus Colts won at home on Jan. 16, scoring 428 points to beat Winfield (404) and Maize (370) and five other teams.

Body TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals boys basketball team made a strong second quarter stand up as it defeated Central Plains League rival Chaparral 46-39 last Thursday. The game originally had been scheduled for Jan.

Body TSnews Home was indeed sweet for the Clearwater Indians boys wrestling team as it won its own Clearwater Invitational last Saturday. The Indians won the tournament with 183 1/2 points, 70 ahead of runner-up Chaparral.
