Body CHENEY – Meeting at a new day and time, the Cheney City Council last Wednesday extended the hours at the Cheney Sports Complex until midnight. The hours at the sports complex were extended to facilitate usage of the complex.

Body CLEARWATER – The annual Mr. and Miss CHS crowning at Clearwater High School will take place this Friday.

Body GODDARD – Students at Goddard High School are celebrating winter homecoming this week. Coronation will take place this Friday between the varsity basketball games against the Newton Railers.

Body CHENEY – Students at Cheney High School have been recognized for first semester honors. Based on grade-point average, students have been named to the principal's honor roll, the honor roll or honorable mention.

Body CONWAY SPRINGS – The second nine weeks honor roll for Conway Springs Middle School has been released. Students are named to either the principal's honor roll or are named honorable mention.

Body CLEARWATER – Clearwater High School will host a community blood drive next week. The drive will run 9 a.m.
