GODDARD – This Friday, students at Eisenhower High School will celebrate the culmination of winter homecoming week with the coronation of this year’s king and queen. The queen candidates are Ava Barrientos, Stella Kitt, Karli George, Ava Nall and Emma Spain, and the king candidates are Pierce Blue, Brody Engel, Colton Doll, Bryce Engel and Ethan Trometer.

CHENEY – Country music performing artist Jake Gill will perform in Cheney to raise funds for veterans. Gill will play this Friday at 9 p.m.

HAYSVILLE – Campus High School will celebrate winter homecoming this Friday. Coronation will take place between the Colts girls' and boys' varsity basketball games against the Valley Center Hornets.

The Conway Springs Middle School teams traveled to Garden Plain on Monday, Jan. 27, and to Belle Plaine on Thursday, Jan.

8 Years Ago The fifth annual Swim To A Wish event will take place Feb. 24-26 at six high schools across the state.

10 Years Ago Times-Sentinel readers who drive down Kellogg on their commutes into Wichita have likely noticed torn-up ground and heavy machinery between 135th and 151st. Construction is underway on a City of Wichita project that will add a frontage road and water line to the stretch.
