He has had a hand in the Goddard Galleria commercial corridor along US-54 Highway and has donated land to the city for the south frontage road outside the Genesis development.

Kerry’s Cafe is nearly completed and expects to be open for business soon, according to Kerry Creed, owner. The new cafe is located just north of Jerry’s Champlin service station in the first block north of Spring Avenue on K-49 Highway in Conway Springs. Kerry plans to feature a noon smorgasbord in addition to a regular menu. The building includes a spacious carpeted dining room, which can be separated from the rest of the restaurant for private dinners.

Haysville resident Kyle Richardson raps under the name K-Rich. He has written and recorded about 20 rap and hip-hop tracks since he started pursuing rap as a hobby in October 2015. On Saturday, Sept. 2, his music was heard by a large audience in the Wichita area. Radio station Power 93.5 played his track “Cali Life” during a local artist showcase segment that evening.
