Babysitting clinic offered in Wellington

SUMNER COUNTY – Are you at least 10 years old and interested in becoming a babysitter? Join K-State Research and Extension in Sumner County, along with community partners, to learn about the responsibilities of babysitting on Friday, March 21. The class will run 9 a.m.

Inclusive additions coming to Linear Park

Aziere on dean's list

HAYSVILLE – Eli Aziere of Haysville was recently named to the fall 2024 dean's list at the College of William & Mary. To be on the dean's lists, a student must be a fulltime, degree-seeking undergraduate student and earn a 3.6 quality-point average.

GODDARD – Goddard resident Carson Jobe has been named to the president’s honor roll for work in the fall 2024 semester, a distinction given to those who achieve the university’s highest academic standards. To be included on the president’s honor roll, a student must record a “straight-A” or 4.0 grade point average for their work in qualifying classes.

Barton Community College has named 312 students to the dean’s list for the fall 2024 semester. To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.99 on a 4.0 or 'A' letter scale.
