Body HAYSVILLE – Campus High School will present the musical “The Addams Family” this weekend. The show is based on the characters created by Charles Addams, featuring a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and orchestrations by Larry Hochman.

Body GODDARD – Rachel Grant of Goddard was part of a team that recently took second place and a $2000 prize in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's inaugural Intermediate Accounting II Case Competition. Grant is a senior accounting and music major at Nebraska.

Body CONWAY SPRINGS – Conway Springs High School drama students will present “Frankenstein Slept Here,” a show by Tim Kelly, a prolific writer of high school shows. The curtain will go up at 7 p.m.

Body HAYSVILLE – At its Oct. 15 meeting, the Haysville City Council approved the re-appointment of several individuals to various community boards.

Body CONWAY SPRINGS – The holidays are nearly here, and the Angel Tree in Conway Springs is seeking help. The Angel Tree program helps struggling families give their children clothing and toys for Christmas.

Body The Cold Weather Rule, designed to help Kansans who are behind on their utility payments avoid disconnection during the winter months, began Nov. 1 and will remain in effect through March 31.
