TSnews CHENEY – Cheney City Council members approved additional curbing and concrete work at the Cheney Sports Complex during last Thursday's regular monthly meeting. While the walking trail at the complex on south Main Street is 95 percent complete, staff members have determined there is an area that needs additional curbing.

HAYSVILLE – The Haysville Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly meeting next week on Thursday. The meeting is taking place on a new date, on the fourth Thursday of the month rather than the third.

Fundraiser set up for teen killed in accident

Staff report TSnews HAYSVILLE – A GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up to help the family of Remone Halabi, who is reported by the fundraiser to have died Sunday in a motorcycle accident. A fatal accident was reported to have happened shortly after midnight on Sunday morning in the area of 55th Street South and Hoover Road.

Married to Blake Wilson, she is the daughter of Daniel and Sharon Quaney of Cheney.
