Presentation to focus on Caldwell history

The Sumner County Historical and Genealogical Society in Wellington will host “These Old Bones: the Stories of Caldwell, Kansas’s Main Street.” The presentation will be by Michelle Schiltz and Lou Ann Jamison, and will take place at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Wellington Memorial Auditorium, 208 N.

Voter registration deadline is approaching

TSnews The deadline for Sedgwick and Sumner County residents to register to vote in city and school elections is next Tuesday. In Sedgwick County, early voting in person will be available at the Sedgwick County Election Office during regular business- hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.

Museum presents Floyd’s Fall Fest

TSnews CHENEY - Souders Historical Farm Museum is hosting Floyd’s Fall Fest this Sunday as a way to reinvigorate public interest in the museum. Souders Museum was started by Floyd and Norma Souders, and depicts what life was like in Cheney and rural Kansas in the late 1880s and early 1900s.
