TSnews WICHITA – Meghan Mueseler’s family farm was recognized as a Sesquicenntennial Farm by the Sedgwick County Farm Bureau. Founded by John and Margartet Hubach, the 417 acre farm is located in far northeast Kansas near Powhattan.

TSnews WELLINGTON – If you want something badly enough, you’ll walk there to get it. That was the synopsis of how Robert Mason’s family farm got started more than a century and a half ago.

TSnews It is a family effort for the Armour family farm, and has been for 150 years. Located two miles north of Clonmel at 55th St.

TSnews WELLINGTON – Chance Hayes and Brad Ketcham both know that you can’t strike up a conversation in Sumner County without asking about the weather. And Hayes and Ketcham are usually pretty accurate when it comes to anything dealing with the weather.

TSnews Originally, Orin McAdam was vying for Sesquicentennial Farm. However, and even with digging through the Sedgwick County archives, the oldest record of the McAdam farm is dated April of 1880.

TSnews The land that husband and wife Philip and Donna Wise farm is located north of Clearwater. It is there they grow wheat and milo.

Wesley Weishaar of Argonia was awarded the Sumner County Farm Bureau Association Scholarship. “It’s a scholarship for Farm Bureau members,” Wesley’s dad Dale Weishaar said.
