CHENEY – Isabel’s Pantry, the food pantry operated by St. Rose Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, will be open next week on Thursday.

CLEARWATER – Culinary students at Clearwater High School are offering a dinner pick-up this Thursday. Students are prepping 250 servings of chicken fried rice.

SEDGWICK COUNTY – Starting this Thursday, a portion of the Prairie Sunset Trail between Goddard and Garden Plain will be closed. The closure will be between 231st Street West and 263rd Street West, and is expected to last for three to four days, according to the Prairie Travelers organization.

Following are next week’s menus for Friendship Meals and Meals on Wheels. The recommended cost is $5 per meal, if you are able to pay.
