TSnews The Eisenhower Tigers improved to 3-1 with a 2220 football win over the Salina Central Mustangs last Friday. The Mustangs, the defending Class 5A champions, had a chance to win the rain-delayed game on a last-second field goal, but missed the attempt.

Cardinals get ready for No. 1 Andale TSnews The Cheney Cardinals and Clearwater Indians are having totally different football seasons, and that was reflected in last Friday’s 38-7 rain-shortened win in Clearwater on homecoming night last Friday.

TSnews For a second straight week, the Argonia-Attica Titans football team has recoreded a shutout and picked up a big victory in 8-player Div. II District 2.

The Campus Colts flag football team will play two games next week. On Monday, the Colts will visit Wamego for a 4 p.m. kickoff. On Wednesday, Campus will be home at Colt Stadium for a game against the Maize South Mavericks. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m.

TSnews With a 182 yards to 13 yards passing advantage, the Chaparral Roadrunners football team beat the host Conway Springs Cardinals 42-14 on Friday night. Ultimately, the game came down to the Roadrunners’ ability to find the end zone.

The Goddard Lions soccer team played to a 1-1 tie against the Valley Center Hornets last Thursday. It was the Lions’ only game last week.

TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals volleyball team continued its hot start to the season as it captured the Medicine Lodge Invitational last Saturday to improve to 12-3 on the season.

TSnews Home ended up being sweet for the Eisenhower Tigers and Goddard Lions girls golf teams last Wednesday. Playing at Auburn Hills Golf Course – Eisenhower’s home golf course – the Tigers and Lions finished third and fourth, respectively, at the Eisenhower Invitational.
