This year, the Colts team includes swimmers from Norwich, Clearwater and Belle Plaine, the latter school being the newest school in the co-op effort.

TSnews The Campus Colts girls soccer team enters the 2026 season with a large roster, a wealth of returning talent, and the memory of last year’s Titan Classic tournament championship, the program’s first in-season tournament title in at least seven years. The Colts finished 2025 with a first-round regional loss to Dodge City, ending a season that featured plenty of competitive, close games.

TSnews The Campus Colts baseball team will serve youth this season after last spring’s 19-7 squad was hit hard by graduation. The Colts’ lone returning starters are senior Owen Glamann and junior Trace Van Asdale, and head coach Colton Flax expects they will carry the mail for Campus this season.

Conway Springs native takes team to NJCAA quarterfinals

TSnews Sumner County was well-represented at last week’s NJCAA Tournament at the Hutchinson Sports Arena. Conway Springs native Chris Gerber coached the Northern Oklahoma College-Enid men’s basketball team on an improbable but impressive run to the quarterfinals, as the Jets defeated a pair of national powers along the way.

TSnews The Goddard Lions baseball team got the season off to a strong start last Thursday against Valley Center, taking the opener 8-6 and the nightcap 4-1. Kane Dunlavy had three hits to lead the Lions in the first game.

Softball

The Clearwater Indians softball team started the season strong last Thursday, downing Rose Hill 8-1 in the first game of a doubleheader, then rolling 20-2 in the nightcap. Ali Thompson led the offense with three hits and two RBIs in the opener, while she, Makena Hampton and Hailey Goforth all homered and Trista Welty struck out 12 and tossed a two-hitter.
