TSnews The Conway Springs-Argonia Reds softball team returns a solid core as it looks to build on a 13-13 record from last season. Returning for the Reds are a trio of seniors who have been a part of the program from the beginning – pitcher/first baseman Macie Hartman, catcher/infielder Reece Johnson and infielder Tori Morrison.

TSnews The Clearwater Indians softball team has made a habit of going to the Class 4A State tournament. The Indians are hoping to continue that habit this spring with several returnees back from last season’s squad which took fourth at State, including the team’s top two pitchers.

TSnews The Clearwater Indians baseball team returns the bulk of its pitching staff as it seeks to build on a 15-12 record last season. “We return 85 percent of our innings on the mound from last year,” Clearwater coach Jess Tracy said.

TSnews A new era is underway for the Clearwater Indians girls track team. The Indians begin this season without the onetwo punch of Madison Williams and Kenzy Artor, who together dominated the Class 4A hurdle races the past few years.

TSnews The Clearwater Indians golfers hope to lower their scores and move up in the placings during the 2026 season. Leading the way will be senior Tyler Campbell, who has had a good offseason.

TSnews The Cheney Cardinals softball team will be young when it takes to the diamond this spring – but the cupboard isn’t entirely bare for the Cardinals. “We return four starters and a few players that gained some varsity experience last year,” Cheney coach Justin Batt said.

TSnews After losing a large class to graduation, the Cheney Cardinals will be reloading this golf season. The Cardinals sent their entire team to State a year ago, and two of those team members are back and will be the building blocks for 2026.

TSnews This year’s Cheney Cardinals track and field team enters the new season looking to replace several athletes who competed at the State meet last year. The girls team, especially, will have to find new athletes to shine as they look to defend their Central Plains League title and the Class 3A regional championship that they shared with rival Garden Plain.

TSnews With 10 players, including six starters, back from a 20-win season last spring, the Cheney Cardinals baseball team is taking aim at another good season. Leading the way are a pair of three-year starters in seniors Reece Tolar and Kaden Ludwig.

TSnews The Campus Colts boys tennis team enters the 2026 season with a large roster of 25 players, headlined by a senior class of nine that includes most of last year’s varsity contributors. The Colts will look to improve on a 2025 season that featured some competitive moments but ended without a State qualifier.
