TSnews The Argonia track and field team took part in the Border Queen meet on April 22 in Caldwell, and the Raiders’ long distance runners shined. Bailey Haines placed second in the 3200 meters, and came in fourth in the mid-distance 400.

TSnews The Campus Colts baseball team had a trio of strong performances last week, taking a pair of games at Hutchinson last Wednesday, 7-6 and 4-0, respectively, then earning a 6-5 win against Derby last Friday. In the opener at Hutchinson, winning pitcher Camden Stateler had a pair of hits, while Grady Clements drove in a pair of runs.

TSnews The Clearwater Indians softball team took a pair of softball games from Andale-Garden Plain last Thursday, 5-0 and 11-1, respectively, to finish Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Division IV play 8-0 and lock up another league title. It was a slightly different story on Monday, as the Indians split with Buhler, winning the opener 3-1 and falling 8-2 in the nightcap.

Colts, Tigers take part in Campus meet

Goddard golfers win at Derby, Ark City

TSnews The Goddard Lions boys golf team had one of its best days of the season on Monday, winning the 12-team Derby tournament. The Lions scored 317, beating runner-up Valley Center by 24 strokes.

Colts lose to Derby in OT

TSnews The Campus Colts girls soccer team hosted Derby on April 24, losing a competitive game in the final seconds of overtime, 2-1. The Panthers went ahead early in the game, with a goal that resulted from a defensive mistake, Colts head coach Casey Reece said.

TSnews The Eisenhower Tigers girls soccer team defended its undefeated record last week, winning 9-1 at Goddard on April 22, then traveling to Newton and winning 6-0. Mackenzie Jordan had a hat trick for the Tigers at Goddard, while Kaitlyn Celso, Reagan Best, Chloe Smith, Reese Nusser, Dani Smith and Ava McAninch scored a goal apiece.
