Virgil Ernest “Ernie” Love, age 92, retired KG&E Murray Gill Substation shift foreman, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023, after an 11-month battle with cancer.

Mary Ann (Coslett) Love, retired bookkeeper and farmwife, age 84, of Clearwater, passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023. Visitation will be noon-5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 5, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary. Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, at First Christian Church, Clearwater.

Victoria Ann Grow, 70, formerly of Conway Springs, passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband and family on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023.

Jeffrey Scot Beauchamp, 62, passed away on Aug. 14, 2023. He was born to Billy Ray and Don Beauchamp on April 28, 1961, in Wichita. Jeff graduated from Cheney High School in 1979. He joined the U.S. Army in 1984 and served in the 82nd Airborne Division out of Fort Bragg, N.C.

Jan Drouhard was born in Wichita on Sept. 21, 1949. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Helen and Gene Weaver, in Wichita where she attended school, graduating from North High School with the class 1967.

Celeste G. Stuhlsatz, 94, formerly of Conway Springs, died Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Presbyterian Manor, Wichita. Celeste was born April 6, 1929 at Clonmel to John Baptiste May and Elizabeth (Nett) May. She attended parochial schools and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Wichita.

Kenneth Howard Shipley, 83, passed away on July 23, 2023 at the Cheney Golden Age Home. The only child of Howard and Ruth Shipley, he lived on a farm near Garden Plain until age 15, when the family moved to Cheney, Kansas.

Marilyn Ann (Mies) Peterson, 63, of Conway Springs, died Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Ascension Via Christi-St. Francis, Wichita. Marilyn was born Jan. 4, 1960, at Wichita to Nicklaus Matthew Mies and LaVern Clara (Koster) Mies.

Mark Alan Loehr, 69, died July 16, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

Rodney Lee Loehr, 68, died Friday (July 7, 2023) at the Ascension Via Christi Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita following a sudden heart attack.
