Body 9 Years Ago Haysville restaurant Iron Wagon Tex Mex BBQ was damaged by a fire Friday afternoon, June 23. According to Sedgwick County Fire Department division chief Carl Cox, firefighters arrived fairly quickly at 2:30 p.m.

Body From 1949 Ed Larson, 84, living south of Milan, had the misfortune to fall from the hayloft the first of the week, breaking his collarbone and arm and bruising himself up considerably. He is considered to be in a serious condition.

Clearwater student wins Jester Award

Body CLEARWATER – Liesl Schulze, a recent graduate from Clearwater High School, was this area’s lone winner in the annual Jester Awards, presented by Music Theatre Wichita. Schulze was the lighting designer for the CHS’ presentation of “Seussical” during the 2025-26 school year.

Body Washburn University has announced its spring 2026 president’s list and dean’s list honorees. Local students on the president’s list include Kaylee Hampton of Clearwater and Landon Roy of Goddard.
