City to move forward on grant to rehab homes

Body HAYSVILLE – The Haysville City Council at its Nov. 12 meeting authorized the city to apply for the Kansas Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), which would help low- to moderate- income Haysville residents with home rehabilitation.

Cheney annexes roadways into the city limits

Body CHENEY – Concluding a months-long negotiation process with Sedgwick County, the Cheney City Council last Thursday voted to annex portions of three roadways into the city limits. Ordinance 959 gives a legal description for 14 different tracts.
