Party could be over for Tupperware The company that revolutionized home food storage has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Tupperware Brands Corporation has faced declining popularity and financial troubles for years.

TSnews CHENEY – Jordan and Courtney Heinze are excited about the prospects for their new business in Cheney – Main Street Laundry. The two are long-time Cheney residents.

TSnews CONWAY SPRINGS – Several local residents made their concerns known at last week's Conway Springs City Council meeting over a neighbor just outside the city limits who they say has aggressive dogs and disturbs their peace with loud music. The residents noted that the problems they are having have been going on too long.

TSnews GARDEN PLAIN – This Saturday, the fifth annual Pearlsnaps' One Pitch Classic benefit softball tournament will be held at Beck Field in Garden Plain. This is a unique slow-pitch tournament where batters only get to see one pitch per at-bat.

TSnews CLEARWATER – The Clearwater City Council met last Tuesday, Sept. 24, and gave final approval to a couple of contracts that had been discussed and agreed to in general terms at previous meetings.

GODDARD – Goddard High School Theatre will stage “You Can't Take It With You,” by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman.
