TSnews HAYSVILLE – Members of the Haysville Chamber of Commerce got a crash course last week on the possible bond issue that is being discussed by USD 261 school officials. But before school officials even consider a bond issue for building and other improvements, the first task has been to hear from the public about the size of any potential bond and what would be covered in it.

SUMNER COUNTY – Cowley College has announced a significant boost to its welding program, thanks to a $41,055 grant from the Kansas Department of Commerce’s Jobs and Innovative Industry Skills Training Grant (JIIST).
