Staff report TSnews GODDARD – A forum next week will give members of the public an opportunity to meet the 12 candidates who are running for four seats on the USD 265 Goddard Board of Education. The forum will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Daryle Smith has resigned as the mayor of Conway Springs. Smith unexpectedly turned in his resignation late last week.

TSnews CHENEY - Souders Historical Farm Museum is hosting Floyd’s Fall Fest this Sunday as a way to reinvigorate public interest in the museum. Souders Museum was started by Floyd and Norma Souders, and depicts what life was like in Cheney and rural Kansas in the late 1880s and early 1900s.

ARGONIA – The Argonia City Council's to-do list was a short one, as the council held its regular monthly meeting on Monday night. Council members heard a presentation from Larry Claycomb of Black Hills Energy about possibly selling the city's natural gas system.
