Library seeks teen club leader

Body CLEARWATER – The Clearwater Public Library is looking for an adult volunteer to help lead its Books & Beyond teen club. The club meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month, starting after school at approximately 3:30 p.m.

BCC names president's list

Body Barton Community College has named 233 students to the president’s list for the spring 2023 semester. To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 or 'A' letter scale.

Body Orville Shirley, a local resident and former Argonia businessman, will become the new manager of the Norris Grain Company here effective next week. Raymond Suttles, a former publisher of the Argonia Argosy, is at present time working on the staff of the Harper Advocate at Harper.
