The Sunflower bowling league finished its season with Argonia Mortuary as the league winner. The team members are Mary Reed, Beverly Cline, Connie Wacker, Nancy Haskins, and Marie Rhodes. Rhea Stephens won individual Hi-30 and individual Hi-10 went to Joan Pelecki. Relna Freeman was the most improved bowler for the year.

Armstrong starts new chapter as book author

HAYSVILLE – Susan Armstrong, a longtime advertising executive and Haysville resident, has turned a page in her career. Armstrong is the author of a new book, “Doomed by Blooms, described as a cozy mystery style.
Author Susan Armstrong is pictured with her red convertible and her dog. Armstrong bears some similarities to Josie Posey, the central character in her debut novel, “Doomed by Blooms.” Armstrong is now writing the second of five books in the series. Contributed photo

CSMS names honor roll students

With the end of the 2022-23 school year, Conway Springs Middle School has released the names of the honor roll students for the fourth quarter of the year. Students were named either to the honor roll or were named honorable mention.
