Body TSnews Three Argonia Raiders competed in four events at last weekend’s Class 1A State track and field meet. It was one of the larger contingent of athletes that the Raiders have sent to State in recent years.

Body TSnews The Goddard Lions saw all three of its boys pole vaulters finish the State track and field meet on the medal stand at Wichita State University last weekend. Connor Koonce, Sebastian Nguyen and Rory Cavanaugh all earned medals.

Body TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals girls track and field team earned a gold medal and two silvers at last weekend’s Class 2A competition at the State track and field meet, as the Cardinals collected a total of six medals. Eleven different girls and boys competed.

Body Cheney’s Kooper Williams finished in a two-way for 16th place at last week’s Class 3A State tournament, played at Lake Shawnee Golf Course. Williams shot 80 on Tuesday to make the final cut, and shaved four strokes off on Wednesday to finish with a 36-hole score of 156.

Body TSnews The best golfers in Class 5A come from the Goddard community – two of them, at least. The Goddard Lions’ Cohen Museousky won the Class 5A State golf tournament last week, shooting 143 over 36 holes to win the individual title by two strokes.

Body The Clearwater Indians softball team’s dream of a State title ran into a roadblock manned by its Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Division IV rivals.
